Scrivener is one of my go-to tools for organizing my writing, books, poetry submissions, programs, projects, and files for clients and teaching. This will be a welcomed gift for any writer you know. Quill & Ink Pen

As a young writer I was given a quill pen for Christmas. I may have been 9 years old at the time. It was one of my most treasured items. Not only is this quill pen beautiful to behold, changing the way you write, including writing implements, types of paper, and other nuances shifts often opens new doors and pathways in accessing creative work. Sometimes a little nostalgia goes a long way to wake up parts of the creative mind.

A Mobile Office Car Desk

This steering wheel car desk is the bees knees! In fact, I am using one right now, as I type this blog! From undergrad, to MFA in Poetry, to Professor, to Gift Guides, I have always loved writing in my car. Often, writers need a quiet space, away from distractions, or they feel short on time, and need a way to add writing time.
