A Course In poetics

I knew when I saw Chelsea and how she was able to read the audience during the workshops she was going to be very helpful. She knew when we needed to stray, and where we needed to go. I don’t think I would have ever made a move towards any kind of healing without the writing classes. I would have gone the rest of my life minimizing with no clue to the level of trauma that was in my cells waiting to be acknowledged and healed. Lots of work left to do, but I have come so far. Thankful for Chelsea and her workshops and classes.

A few months ago, my life took a dramatic shift, and I felt like I needed spiritual guidance. A friend connected me with Chelsea. I had two conversations with Chelsea, one which included an Akashic Records reading. In my initial conversation with Chelsea, without giving her much information at all, she was able to tap into the energetics of what was happening in my life, and gave me clarity through sharing with me a visual image which would up describing my situation perfectly. Her insight supported me in gaining initial understanding of why the dramatic changed happened. Through her sharing of her gift, I was able to gain insight that I needed to begin my healing. During our official Akashic Records session, I was able to get a glimpse of Chelsea's vast and profoundly valuable gift, where she connected with my spirit guides, and helped me gain even more clarity on steps that I needed to take moving forward in my life. Some of the guidance and messages made sense immediately, whereas other bits have slowly, been becoming more clear over time, and continue to unfold. If you are someone who is seeking support from an authentically gifted individual who can connect with the unseen realm of Spirit and bring you concrete messages from your guides, then I highly recommend Chelsea. The Write Journey is a very appropriate name for the collection of writing workshops facilitated by Chelsea Palermo. It is not so much what I am learning about writing that has transformed my work, but rather what I have uncovered about myself. The daily “Write to Release” group has opened my mind to interpreting poetry in a way I never have before, taking others’ work to relate to my own experiences and emotions. Interacting with like-minded people has brought consistency to my writing practice, as well as helped me navigate my own poetic, and spiritual journey. I recommend this class to anyone who is trying to awaken the dormant parts of themselves.

I’ve been lucky to catch several of Chelsea’s workshops. It’s usually a mix of new and experienced poets. Chelsea has gift for making her workshops engaging and challenging for advanced published poets, while at the same time encouraging and inspiring new poets. In her workshops, everyone is equal. She puts the focus on art, and not the ego, letting everyone connect and feel comfortable. She knows how to nurture a good poem out of just about anyone.

Chelsea’s classes and her teachings on poetry and writing changed me as writer and a person. I now have a pretty strong daily writing practice because of Chelsea and her help and guidance, especially during the pandemic in her daily class. We wrote everyday. And that little group was what we all needed. Her class helped us process the happenings of the world in the moment, and even intergenerational trauma. Chelsea’s practice within the group and with other sessions I have had with her have truly changed my writing practice. I am forever grateful for that.
